NO. chotu is an ordering app. chotu is not a delivery company or a warehouse. It helps you order directly from your trusted local shops — the same kirana, bakery, or vegetable seller you already buy from.
Where does the order land when I place an order on chotu?
Unlike other apps, your order will land directly on the shop-keeper’s WhatsApp. chotu does not get to know about your order at all.
Should I pay to chotu?
NO. You order directly with the shop-keeper, so you will directly pay him/her. We are not involved in the order or the transaction at all.
So who delivers the product when I order?
Your local shop will handle the delivery — just like they normally do when you call or send a WhatsApp message. Or you might pick it up. This is basis your convenience.
How is this different from just sending a WhatsApp message to the shop?

After placing the order, you can chat with the shop on WhatsApp if you want to make changes, ask questions, or confirm delivery time. Or simply call the shopkeeper.

Your info is NEVER with chotu! If you install chotu, you will notice that there is no phone number verification. I do not know your number, nor will ever ask for it. You’re ordering directly with the shop via WhatsApp, just more conveniently.

Verified shops are marked with a 👑 crown symbol in the shop list. This means chotu has personally reviewed them and they have a strong record of great service.
Are VIP shops safer or better than other shops?
All shops on chotu are real and local, but VIP shops have earned an extra layer of trust. They’ve been verified by us for reliability, fast response, and quality.
Do VIP shops charge extra?
